Time was, I didn’t pay much attention to most of what SecondLife.com’s official announcements said, but I’m starting to take an interest. Especially now since the new CEO’s Twitter account AND parody Twitter accounts seem to be following me. It seems courteous to pay more attention and perhaps poke more fun. I’m a proud member of the Brotherhood (and Sister) of Marginally Competent Builders. Most of this makes no sense to me, a very damn casual user. I’d just like to say that some robots are very nice people and quite funny. But the landbot ones that scoop up your land when you set the price to some crazy low price by mistake are a bit of a nuisance. Heh, yes, I have a horror of landbots. I used to live next to a 16m parcel that had a daily visit from a mysterious Puppet person. I realize they perform a useful function, but they’re creepy. I’ve listed the following parcels for sale but of course it takes Search forever to register them as such – and I reduced the price on the first one, which of course is still showing at the original price on the big map. Now I see why so many SLoggers complain about search, in my dim and vaguely informed way. Current prices are set for $L2500 for the 512 parcels and $L5000 for the 1024 but I’m totally open to offers. It’s been a good few months since I did anything productive around my mainland holdings. I finally did some tidying up, and spent some time thinking about what I’d like to do next, and what my goals might be for accomplishing that. I will probably be selling off some of my mainland holdings and throw in my lot with the excellent folks in Steelhead; they are a terribly creative bunch when it comes to home and store builds, air armadas, naval junks, and what-not.
