    This is just the kind of impractical yet endearingly retro design that would work well in Second Life as a scripted vehicle.     Northfarthing is a pleasant fantasy-medieval sim, and recently it’s gotten a mountain-sized makeover. A lot of the old Abbey remains, but it’s been completely rebuild on one side and has lots of balconies with nice views of the new mountains, an intriguing ruin, and a beautiful rocky stone-henge. The old Green Dragon inn is gone, and some of the other places I remember; but the remaining homes, cottages and castles are really pretty. Also, there’s stuff to buy.     I took a break from “stuffs” today to go back to my old home in Northfarthing. I “lived” there for more than a year, about half my total time since coming to Second Life. I love what DonPaul has done with the place! He’s added mystical mountains all around,and with the new Windlight settings I’m trying with Imprudence, it looks really beautiful.     I’d just like to say that some robots are very nice people and quite funny. But the landbot ones that scoop up your land when you set the price to some crazy low price by mistake are a bit of  a nuisance. Heh, yes, I have a horror of landbots. I used to live next to a 16m parcel that had a daily visit from a mysterious Puppet person. I realize they perform a useful function, but they’re creepy.     I’ve listed the following parcels for sale but of course it takes Search forever to register them as such – and I reduced the price on the first one, which of course is still showing at the original price on the big map. Now I see why so many SLoggers complain about search, in my dim and vaguely informed way. Current prices are set for $L2500 for the 512 parcels and $L5000 for the 1024 but I’m totally open to offers.
