It’s working. I just sold off some “garden claw” tools in the DFS inworld game, and may sell off up to 10 more tools for $L75 each later. Yes, it’s pocket change, but it’s out of my inventory.
I still have a few more “special theme” tools to sell, and some cooking down to do today.
My virtual market stall is more than paying for itself; I can only put out 75 prims, 2 of which are a sign and a vendor-server for the vending boxes I use. The specialty items go in a different kind of sales box that have bigger sides to display the item textures I made or bought – as I sell something off I switch out the items and textures. Next is a reorg of the vendor boxes to make them less random in order. I use the vendors as adjunct storage and if I can’t easily find something, neither can potential customers.
As soon as the typist finishes her second cuppa coffee, I’ll go back online and start some batches of stuff to clear inventory even more.
I have a LOT of “beef” to offload, so I may turn it into precursor ingredients and stick it in vendors. My “herd” is nearing its “slaughter” dates and that means even more to offload.
Meanwhile, waiting for “harvests” to come in to finish off some “recipes,” trying to avoid the temptation to buy in bulk.
That way madness, and 100 baskets of virtual potatoes, lies.
